There's no chance he will be escaping from the supermax prison they'll be shipping him off to. If he has to move from it, then he'll be under a massive escort.

he runs the biggest cartel in the world, which has armies bigger than a lot of countries.. factor into that, paying people off left right and centre and nothing would surprise me !

There's always a possibility but it is incredibly slim. ADX Florence is like a fortress, it's in the middle of absolutely nowhere and not far off 500 miles from Mexico.

Like someone else said, they're in isolating 23-hours a day within a cell that's designed to limit an inmate understanding their position and communicating.

Add to that the construction of the building, surveillance systems, the numbers of armed patrols and genuinely being in the middle of nowhere.

What are they going to do: a frontal assault on it? Try and smuggle him out? Then what? If we're honest, they'd rather cut ties with him than bring more attention.

Obviously they're not on the same scale as the cartels, yet there's been a few mafia bosses who've ended up there and they're cut a drift until their release.
