I love eggs. I can cook a decent egg. Favourite thing for me currently is a poached duck egg. How do you have yours?

I find it difficult to get a good shape on a poached egg.

Tastes great but looks a mess.

My mate was raving about duck eggs recently. I'll have to try them.

Eggs are one of my favourite foods, they're so versatile. I scramble, poach, boil, omelette and fry (occasionally) my eggs. Think my favourite way to have them now is poached on toast with brown sauce and black pepper. Ace.

Also, if the yolk pops before it's ready then I feel like drop kicking the cat. Hate that.

Duck eggs are indeed ace.

Tough choice so although i've voted for omlette, i have to say it is dependant on mood as I do like a mean paoched egg myself

have to use a poaching pan me can never do it in a normal pan.

Sometimes I cut a circular hole in a piece of toast, put it on a pan and fry an egg in the middle of it. Flip it over, add black pepper and melt cheese over it. Repeat with a second piece and put fried bacon and/or sausage in the middle. Add sauces accordingly.

Diabetes in a pan, but there's not many better things to have when you wake up at 1pm after a heavy night out

Are you god?

Here's my favorite way - saw some French chef guy do this on TV with the sound off, and don't know what you call this precisely.

You start off like your standard fried egg - pop a couple in the pan in some butter, wait until they set up on the bottom (cook this medium high at least), add about a teaspoon of water to the pan and cover while it steams. After you give this about half a minute, you'll find an egg that is fried crisp on the bottom and poached on top with the runny yolk you only get out of a poached egg. On top of toast or some homefried spuds, ambrosia.

Give me a word for this, lids.

Eggs are wonderful in most every available way.
