You're forgetting that gate money is becoming an almost irrelevant part of PL club income. Even if Everton were to raise their prices by 10% it would only see them with an extra £2m of income. The real failing at the Club -- and it's been said numerous times before -- is on the commercial side. We couldn't sell water in a desert.

Agreed commercial side is weak, every company in the North West will know we have corporate, sadly if firms don't want to engage im not sure what you can do. Continued years of winning trophy's, and how do we get there when competing with massive budgets. Wish it was different.

After this seasons performances, the lack of financial investment and the TV money going up and up, tickets should be on the recline, lads going the game shouldn't be paying half a months wages watching players who earn that in the first 60 minutes of the season. Its a scandal.
Absolutely.

Money through the turnstile is becoming an irrelevance anyway. In the new deal just announced the gate money we take in a typical season of around £20m will be the equivalent to the TV money we're going to be getting from just 2 live TV matches! So as you say prices should be getting cut. I think that anyway prices are going to have to be slashed at most grounds to get them any near full at fixtures filling the Friday night slots.

Its not about spending for spendings sake, which is what Hull might of done, either way its not really getting them anywhere.
Point i was making is although we spent alot compared to previous years its still low in comparison with other teams around the league
