The Old City is brilliant with some nice pubs.

The old city is indeed the best part. Driving around the city is horrible at the moment though, with the worst roadworks on earth at present. I was there a few weeks ago and it's like a major archaeological dig is underway or something.

Boss place, used to stay there when working at Grangemouth. Not been for ages though.

There's this road there that's just a mile of bars, rose street I think. We just went in places and drank, can't remember super specifics like pub names as I was a bit drunk, although I seem to remember the hard rock cafe being alright
