He's returned from preseason fat literally every season, gonna assume it's the Spanish sun here being the culprit lol

I dont think either inhalers or copious amounts of sun or paella would have played any part in his ability to control a football and keep it so close to his feet whilst running like he could. Absolute world class performer for a few seasons during his time at Chelsea.

He did about 2 years ago, this was just running down the contract(s), all things considered.

For all the fantastic performances he had at Chelsea it's a shame he wasn't good for at least a few games at Real really, a bit like Bale - yeah, injury prone, golf and all the memes, but if he's on the pitch he's performing and scoring. In all the games he's played for Madrid you couldn't even say that it was Hazard, he was just average or worse really.

Honestly thought he announced his retirement before the end of the season. I'm writing this down so if he tries to announce it again to keep staying relevant I've got the proof.
