Reidy's Bottle Of Grecian

The Unobstructed View
Seem to have got Eczema over the winter and in particular in my ears, it's itchy as feck, clear fluid seeps from the skin, which dries in your lugs and goes all flaky and itchy then that falls off and it seeps and dries again.
Had some sprays from the doctor cos keep getting infections from putting my finger right in, and cotton buds 'til the doc said not to, and not wanting to tempt fate too much but the inner infections seem to have gone for now.
The cold weather and wind don't kind of help either, especially with lugs like mine.

I had a thought the other day that a new pillow and pillow case may be irritating them, as I was trying to think what comes into contact ? Everton Hat is other most common thing and thats hopefully not gonna be worn over the summer months as a winter one.
So I've put the new pillow and case under a softer one with a softer case and thus far seems to be doing the trick, although the weather i.e. cold wind has caused a bit of itching but not like before.

An itch is hard to ignore though and an ear itch makes you do an involuntary scratch, but themn you get para that every itch is that.

The doc said that some people do get it in winter, so hoping for some respite asap.

Got it in the crack of my arse as well which also causes discomfort but I won't go into quite so much detail on that. Safe to say that wiping irritates & undies with a seam there are agony. I've got through some sudacrem I can tell ya.
Steroid creams work... until you stop using them, and thin your skin.

Anyone get Eczema ? particularly in 'sensitive' areas ?

Not Eczema... but I suffer from psoriasis which can be equally annoying.. at it's worst my arms, knees and scalp are awful... not been too bad of late but I have been spending as much time as i can outdoors and sunshine apparently is a helper.

Sunbathing kills psoriasis like crazy sh*t. Unbelievable they've got all these creams yet a bit of sun is the most effective on it.

I've had psoriasis so sympathise. Itchy as [Poor language removed]. I've got an itchy arse now after I dump but lids on here said that's roids.
Yes they sound like 'roids. And reidy, if sudocrem doesn't work, try metanium. It's yellow but a bit better. Also white paraffin is good and cheap

Grandson has eczema which flares up from time to time. We use Oilatum in his bath water. Doublebase Gel on his torso and legs , and Hydrocortizone Cream under his neck and and behind his knees

Without wishing to hijack Reidy's thread. Is there any treatment for das roids that won't alleviate any itching but make the thing go away. It's not chronic and they're obviously not hanging out of my arse but from time to time it's annoying.

Not really, not without surgery to band them, but they don't tend to do that until you start to lose copious amounts of blood and it's an emergency situation, like. They're like varicose veins for the bum

When i had the squits at Xmas, I wiped so often the I think I turned my hoop inside out, and caused much irritation there, I'm certain I don't have Siegmund's as I have looked, also a google image search that I didn't enjoy at all apart from "nope, not got them......thank feck."
My doctor is a young Indian Lady, I've fixed her sliding Patio door, but I really don't fancy opening my back door for her.

There's nothing to suggest that I've got the bad roids except for this itching post plop. But I've had it for abar a year, intermittently. Sack it. As long as it's not arse AIDS then it's all good.

I told the chemist he had a humour that was either very ironic or very sadistic, as the Preperation H, Anusol etc was all on 'The Bottom Shelf.'
Lube was higher up so I put my money on the latter.
