I hadn't realised our choices were between same sex marriage or fixing the economy and the justice system. My understanding was that the government were quite capable of making judgements on all three things at once.

thing is though mate most likely 90% of the country wasnt arsed about same sex marriage, I see the arguments for both for and against it, but surely a good leader sorts out the issues that are currently more important to the nation, such as crime, such as unemployment, such as immigration first then deal with these other issues. Cameron is trying to stand out as "im so liberal peeps vote for me" because he's lost his Conservative and right wing voters and he knows it, thats why he's trying to appeal to the left votes.

If and when I want eastern european fanny I will book a weekend with the boys and go there and then I will come home.

Got a new job mate. One where I can't doss about on here all the time. Sucks! And yeah man I was winning 6 1 but he quit after 35 minutes.

Just a few points:

UKIP don't tell it as it is, that might be the perception, but it's false. Firstly, they claim to be a libertarian party, but have socially conservative policies - that's not telling it as it is.

The economy isn't down the toilet, it's limping along, but it's forecast to outperform Germany in 2013 - not great, but hardly a disaster.

Immigration fell by a third in 2012.

I'm not quite sure how you come to that conclusion about same sex marriage, Cameron undoubtably cares about same sex marriage, but governments are capable of doing more than one thing at a time.

like mentioned immigration itself hasnt dropped only net, come January 2013 up to 27-29 million Bulgarians and Romanians are eligible to come over without any restriction and without any "whats your qualifications?" type questions, considering that youth unemployment is around 20% and jobs are scarce it will only lead to more people coming over and finding it tough getting employment, therefore for a % of them will go straight into the welfare system without putting anything into the system.

Cameron like I said is only chasing same sex marriage as he knows he's lost his usual right votes to UKIP so he needs to appeal to the left which puts his party into further trouble as it means UKIP gain more ground as the voters begin to see less and less difference between the 3 main parties who are at an all time low in public support..
