To be fair I love the Dutch team. They play shexy football and have aceness all over. Arjen Robben, Van Persie and our very own Johnny Heitinga. I was rooting for them against Spain but unfortunately they thought it was a rugby match and ballsed that one up.

They're still not as good as Spain, no matter what the ridiculous FIFA rankings say, but they're easily the 2nd best international team in the world for my money. When they're on form they really play some gorgeous fuzball.

11-0? Wow. That's the biggest in their history I think.

Van Persie with 4. I fancy him to be prem top scorer this year if Arsenal get their act together.

Damned, we're good. ;-) Even playing without Royston Drenthe tonight, go figure.

If Royston makes something of himself with us this year does he have a chance of getting back into the international set up, do you think?

From what I've seen even someone of Elia's quality doesn't get too many opportunities. Could be a big ask for Drenthe.

Personally think that Royston has every chance of making the Dutch squad. If the lad can get his head together, he can be a world beater. Also disagree with you about the Spanish team . If we play our own game to our full strength, I'm convinced we'll beat them. Mind you, this is is the nationalist speaking within me

I thought the Dutch might beat them in the WC final. When the oranje play their stuff they really are a scintillating footballing side. That's why I was so disappointed to see the tactics in the WC final. You should have tried to go toe to toe with them. Not only because it would have been a great game, but because the difference in quality isn't as big as people make out, and I think it would have been a much more even tie than say... United vs Barca, for example.

But you're definitely biased. The Spanish are better.
