Sometimes you need a new broom, sometimes you don't and need to get back to your roots. Right now I'm NEA if Allardyce commissions a statue of Neville Southall on Goodison Rd, or if he bans every ex-Everton player from Finch Farm in perpetuity - all that matters is what happens on the park.

The same group that have been manipulated so easily in to accepting Allardyce really mate and genuinely thought we were going to spend £100m a window and win the league.

It's typical of the "caretaker" manager role though (& Everton at any time), that nobody has clearly defined roles or full power. So maybe unsie wanted Dunc out of the picture, but doesn't have the authority to do it. Watching Everton now, you look at the players. Most would walk into any team outside the top 6, yet the performances are pathetic. It does look like the problems are coming from the training ground.

Pickford, Gueye and Sigurdsson would probably get a game for any team outside the top 6. Other than that I'm struggling to see who Williams, Martina, Sandro, Jagielka etc. would play for.

I think people are underestimating how truly dreadful some of these fellas are.

Yea I agree with this, people think the actual strength of our sqaud is better than it is and there just out of form.
Fact is it's both, we have a lot of average and poor players who are also out of form

Agree with Williams, Martina and probably Jags but in a more balanced and less insane team Sandro would look decent.
