Actually he shares his Birthday with somebody else who is superb.

Happy birthday mate, even if no one else got onto the hint. Hope you had a good one.

Keeping on topic, I heart Duncan. I was going to a load of the games in the nineties and he was sometimes the only reason I had any hope going into a moody game. The sh*te were petrified of him, despite us having one of the worst teams in living history that pulled on royal blue. He got it, and we loved him for it.

I met him once when we were both wrecked in retro bar. I plucked up the courage to stop him as he was going past and I told him how boss I thought he was. He stopped where he was going and talked for me for about five minutes, dead sound. He even robbed a ciggy off me ffs. About two weeks later I was in there and recognised me and came over for a chat again, dead sound. I was on cloud f*cking ten. But that's him, he is what he is. No pretentious pampered sh*thouse who looks down on the fan, he was Duncan, one of us.

I was proud to have him wear the number nine, that's about as much as I can praise him. All the best big fella.
