Can't wait for it too.

When Gearbox announced it officially it took a while for it to sink in, like, but now I'm dead excited. Borderlands was fantastic, so I've faith they'll ensure this is a fun game, but really it doesn't matter what it's like. So long as the catchphrases are present, and it's Duke Nukem-y enough, then it will just be a brilliant -- if slightly bizarre -- thing to finally experience.

Exactly.

You'll get biffs whinging about the graphics or the "generic" gameplay I bet.....But if the game is full of the gold like the trailer is with its one liners, OTT gore, and everything Duke is about then that's all I want.

I just remind those people, when was a Duke game ever anything but average, from a technical standpoint?

In fact, most of the Duke games are pretty dire. You just play them for the dialogue and the whole self-aware parody vibe. There's nothing else like Duke.
