I am from Dublin, about 3 miles from Liverpool as the crow flies .

It is just 25 years since my last visit to Goodison.

Derby - Ward and Cottee - Grobellar belting McManemin.

Great day.

Oh and Alan Ball - (50 years a toffee fan)

Thanks lads and ladies for the welcome. Kids have grown up and I am near retirement. Time to get back to goodison alright. Lat time I stayed out with friends from West Derby. Drank in the prinny. Ended up in the she club. Probably all gone now.

Bawn also means fair (as in fair haired) - So fair gee = Fergy. Geddit. I was trying for de bit of subtlety as well as the in your face. (Doesn't seem half as smart or funny when I write it all out).
