There's harsh laws and punishments in this country whihc people don't agree with.

You break the law of the country you are in you get punished as per the ruls of that country.

People can't pick and chose what laws to obey and then expect to get let off cause they moan the punishment is too harsh.

Fair enough if they didn't actually do it but who knows.

In all seriousness. You should know the laws of whichever country you are visiting. If you do not, and you break them, then you cant really moan about it.

Its crazy. Muslim countries are not ones to visit expecting to leave all your cares behind and party though.

You are not allowed to drink alcohol in muslim countries lid. So you'd be arrested just for being drunk. You'd most likely get lashed for it too.
A friend of mine worked there for a few years, and they used to come round to make sure they were not celebrating christmas. Someone got caught with decorations up, which they destroyed. They then found someone with alcohol who they arrested on the spot. Luckily he got off with a week in jail.
