This just makes me feel so sad for those 250 poor school kids who were trapped on that ship due to the incompetency of the ship's crew and left to slowly drown.

10/11/17 TWAIN CRUSH DAY
Nearly drowned once. Caught in a rip tide on Copacabana beach. Got caught up in it and couldn't get out and was being slammed aginst the seabed every 10 seconds or so. Would just get myself up to gasp for air and was slammed down again. Was running out of strength and genuinely believing my time was up when a coupe of surfers plucked me out.

I went on a jet ski in Turkey, went over the top. Figuratively and and literally: the jet ski skidded off about 30 yards as I went over the top and a mile or so out from shore where it's deadly silent and the water is still. Swimming toward it as the jacket holds you up In some semi disabled manner is terrifying!
Then trying to mount the jet ski is hilarious as you are goosed from swimming In complete panic as you think Jaws will eat ya.
