Have you flown any drones before? It might be worth buying (and crashing) a £50 cheap one first before dropping £1.3k on one of those big boyes.
No never. There is a mavic clone on eBay for £90 may get that one first.

I’ve used and previously owned a DJI Phantom before, great fun but you’re constantly shitting yourself it’s going to fall out of the sky or fly off somewhere and never come back even though it has a “return to home” feature. I imagine having a cheaper drone is a lot less stressful when you’re starting out.

It’s pretty easy to find work with them as well, I managed to get some work recording and editing together the local rugby and footy teams matches/practice (recorded from a top down view) so they could analyse their positioning/performance etc.

The lad bought some high speed racing 1 with pov specs as well, he's terrified of it even after 'detuning' it, in fact its not been out of the box for about 18 months, it's stupidly fast. he got it off banggood or aliexpress or somewhere for about £160. 'Eachine Wizard' its called... this guy can fly it
