Driving

That's the thing, there's hardly any about anymore, due to the press prohbitive cost of insurance for them.

They've been priced off the road to a certain extent.

The real nuisances / dangers are old dears in Nissan Micras and the like, who drive everywhere at thirty, never use their mirrors, brake on every corner, don't look any further ahead than the end of the bonnet and have the reaction time of a Sloth that's just woken up.
I got stuck behind one of these on Saturday, stopping at every mini roundabout even though there was NOTHING coming, and then proceeding at 20-25 mph the whole way. At several points I was very close to overtaking them, but had to resist as it was a moderately busy road and I couldn't trust someone not to pull out of a driveway etc. But on another day, a driver like me might go for it, with disastrous consequences. And the dithering divvy will face no charge.

People who come to a dead stop at every junction and roundabout cos they cant read the flow of traffic and think they are driving safely! Arrggh

another one is when the car infront turns in to a side road and slams the brakes on mid turn for no apparent reason irritates me

I find the ones pootling along in the middle lane doing 65 are the ones who cause sensible drivers to lose it, which invariably results in dangerous driving and accidents.
This one million percent - the utter lack of awareness they display for what they're causing behind and around them makes my sh!t itch. I spend a lot of my day on the road, and I'm not making any great claims for myself, but my own awareness of what I'm doing, and what others may do then end up doing, has prevented many an accident.

I refuse to play golf

Anything more than Crazy golf is where I draw the line, anything that requires tartan trousers can GTF.

Or staying in the middle of the road to turn right then clattering an oncoming car!!

people who dont know what lane to be in approaching an island, so take both the inside and outside lane. these drivers tend to be dither'ers also and you find yourself waiting an age to go, as your road is blocked by an absolute moronic driver!

AARRGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh

At tops a 7 here, much better back home. I'm driving an automatic in huge lanes with hardly any traffic, of course I'm gonna be eating food or opening a bottle of coke whilst driving

**oh and a completely different animal when I have my kids in the car, actually follow speed limits and junk.
I turn into an old woman when my kids in the car and make no apologies for it.

I have to admit, I tend to rely on road markings and signage to determine which lane I should be in. Certainly a part of the Highway Code I forgot years ago.

If I wind up in the wrong lane, I just use my superlative roundabout judgement skills to razz everyone off and get into the correct lane.

Another road rager.

To be honest I sometimes get annoyed and then the Mrs just throws me one of her looks and I cool down :/

Recently I have been caught behind drivers who seem to think it is good manners to stop on the main road to let cars out of side roads. This seems to be happening more and more, I don't know if it is just a Northern Ireland thing but is is dangerous.

Worst country I have driven in is Turkey, there appears to be only one rule in their Highway Code, "If you seem a gap in traffic you drive into it, no matter how small it is".
