Driving Test Wednesday

So I've got my driving test this week. Just had my last lesson before test and it was a disaster.

Stalled on a major junction, hit a curb, missed a car coming the other way. Disaster

Get on Paddy Power and put your savings on me failing. I'm going to!!

You'll be fine. If it does go wrong, just redo it and redo it. I know it's pricey, but the freedom of having a motor vehicle is a fantastic thing....plus...

The way I see it, you saved petrol by turning off the engine at a busy junction, tested the vehicles suspension on a curb (ensuring it is road worthy), and also demonstrated your lightning reflexes when handling a vehicle by avoiding a collision.

Good work sir.

Mate, every1 has a disaster lesson before their test, it's just the way it is, just take your time with it all you'l be sound

Remember, you are an inexperienced driver, you will make mistakes during the test. The examiner knows this and is looking to see how you deal with them. So keep cool, take your time and you will be fine, promise .

Dont worry about stalling everyone does it, the mrs a prime example, just stay clam as possible and you'll be fine

Good luck mate!

I was majorly worried about my test for the week leading upto it, convinced I would fail but then was ridiculously chilled on the actual day. So I guess my advice is CHILL OUT FFS! You'll be fine mate (y)

Ha good luck,i passed on the 6th attempt inside 12 months after never ever sitting in the driving seat or having a go in car parks, quiet roads, pics etc to get use to driving,[4 of the 5 fails i thought i passed as i was perfect i thought,i never got more than 6 points and 1 serious in any-the other one i had the main DVLA boss who give me a serious mark for driving pass workmen 2 fields away [and they were big fields] as he said i should have been going 20miles and not the 30 miles the road marking said]-i didnt know there was workmen no were near the road,i had the same Driving Test Examiner in 4 of them and it was her that passed me and when she did i said are you sure i passed lol,i then waited 11 months to get a car which 6 weeks later was robbed on of all days APRIL 1ST and completely wrecked,2nd car was ruined x-mas just gone with the cold which destroyed the pipes etc,and i now have a new one for the last 4 weeks which saturday the engine system thing has gone funny and getting checked tomorrow,as you can see ive had good luck NOT lol

BUT BEST OF LUCK AS SAID

Good Luck, matey! This'll be me at some point this year - having my lessons at the minute.

Don't worry, don't stress, just keep calm and you'll be fine. :)

As far as i know as well they have changed the test from when i did it a few years ago i was told last week, instead of saying turning left right etc, they say something like go to the bottom of the road your on and make your own way to say preston from liverpool with you having to follow all the signs on motorways etc knowing when to turn, the speed and whatever, and you are suppose to do one move only now-reverse around corner etc.

They don't put you on a motorway but apparently they do say, "Go from here to there" and let's just hope you know how to get to the next town from you! :)

I went 4 times before passing and i stalled the car on my test and still passed. If you stall you are still in control of the vehicle, i'm sure you'll be fine just don't close your eyes on the test cos it helps
