I went out with a few work colleagues last night for a curry and a 'couple' of pints, which turned into eight. I've now had to stop at a service station for a full english on my 200 mile drive home, I feel much better now. When did anyone drink far too much the night before something important? Twice, both marriages, mine, and it was hugely helpful especially the first time. If you think you about to make a terrible mistake go and get chicoed out of your skull, recommended but I didn't have to drive the following day, got poured into the church.

Was thinking this.

It was a regular event when I was in the mob, Thursday beer calls with free drink, top shelf pints and the tube of death before heading into town, then in for work at 7:30 the next day expected to service aircraft before they went flying.

I'd like to think I'm a more sensible cat these days but you'll probably find out at Southampton that this is not the case.

Had to go back into school on day after prom to finish and hand in remaining coursework. Drank a bit too much and was horrendously ill the next day, took 2 hours to get out of bed and had my head on the computer desk in school and couldn't finish my work. Just ended up handing it in without putting applying the finishing touches.

Possibly the worst hangover I've ever had.

I usually drink too much before I even get out for pints. Definitely abuse the term 'pre-drinks'.
