Today apparently is Australia day.

I'm not Australian, don't know any socially, but apparently it's a big event down there.

Actually in Melbourne right now it's almost over, so I hope they enjoyed themselves anyway, not sure of what they get up to.

At least in Perth they still have some time left.

Not entirely sure I should welcome a nation that introduced Crocodile Dundee, Home and Away, Prisoner Cell Block H, INXS and Men at Work but in any event, it's only once a year so fair enough.

No Australians on Grand Old team, surely not.

This calls for a 'greatest ever Aussie' namecheck:

We got loads of them buddy. Mcain being the main one. I think Cahill may play for them also:P.

G'day blues. Hope you have a good Australia day.

I think that's going a bit too far, can't condone animal cruelty.

It's over now in Melbourne, they must be really upset now.

I wonder what Cahill is doing today.

And Jason Kearton, should be included, what's he doing I wonder.

I think i'll listen to Men at Work right now, it's only fair.

that's going back a few years.

that guy on the far right looks a bit like our old friend Benitez at first glance.

I often wondered what he did in his spare time.

No mention of Prisoner Cell Block H yet, come on , that was a classic series.

Used to be on ITV up until about 1994 until they took it off, was on Channel Five for a while after that, can't imagine it will ever be back on terrestrial TV, never got a chance to see the last few episodes.

I think Ferguson survived, will have to check archives and reference.
