I picked Argentina before the tourney. They haven't been great but have had Messi there to bail them out. If they can click, yeah it's theirs to lose.

If any of the newbies win it, Colombia, Belgium, Costa Rica, I'll be elated.

(I've already accepted us not signing Lukaku, so I wish him the best. Would love to see Super Kev hoist it, too.)

For some reason I don't want Holland or Germany to win at any cost. I think Brazil are best equipped to stop them. Possibly Argentina.

Could finally be Germany's year. They're a better side than Colombia, even if they lack that one player who's absolutely on fire as James Rodriguez was, so I think they should beat Brazil. Unless it's played in particularly brutal conditions.

Argentina will stroll to the trophy if they click into gear, though.
