City are having to do it too, I haven't seen any protest from them yet. There's no issue here really. Both have deep squads that are valued in hundreds of millions of pounds. Are we really expected to accept that they cant sort themselves out for two matches in three days? Dont these managers like Dalglish always stress it's a squad game now? And will Dalglish - with Liverpool not having to play midweek European games this season - be telling the Premier League that they dont want any advantage going into matches with elite teams involved in the CL and ask them to rearrange them?

1 - the man is a tool.
2 - didn't we get done over in a similar situation, having to play 3 games in 7 days or something - yet they wouldn't move our game to the following night as the shite were on the TV.

5- he's whinging about sky not being able to move their game with citeh back a day. if they want the TV man's money, they've got to dance to his tune.

7 - player preparation - don't make me laugh! If a professional footballer (whose job it is to be fit and healthy) can't play 2 games in 72 hours, then he shouldn't really be doing that job. I've played 2 games in a night before, and I'm not exactly what you'd call svelte. Let alone, that they can field 2 seperate teams of fully paid up professional footballers.

I'm sure lots of pseudo-celebrity fans will get together and make a video about it all, start a poster campaign etc.. Oh the injustice!

Lol. Yes the man is a tool, but that's no reason to disagree with everything he says. Maybe I was wrong to say everyone should be agreeing though! He's a tit because he only dislikes the rules when they don't suit Liverpool, but personally I'd like to know my team and it's manager have had sufficient time to prepare for every game. I'm sure training hard every day and playing matches every few days can take it out of you... as fit as these guys are they're not super human. I wake up feeling like death after a night of football, nevermind endless days without a break.
 

The more me moans means the more they are "being picked on," and things are not going their way.

Which is Good.

If everyone could learn to ignore them they could wallow in their misery, compounded by nobody caring.
