They may exist but I'm pretty sure that as of about a year about there wasnt a single recorded case of a prosecution in this country utisiling 'detector van' evidence .

The legal loophole I know of, unsure if it still exists, was that if you don't watch anything live, just on demand and don't tape anything to watch later then you aren't legally bound to pay the fee. This is what my dad does as far as watching but he's pays his license fee as I told him he'd probably be the poor bstd that gets done.

Cheers for that mate I never knew. I could certainly get by without watching the bbc live.i might miss pointless and a few shows on bbc4 like
