I know things are bad, but this bad at QPR?
QPR midfielder Samba Diakite has returned home to France to undergo treatment for depression. The 23-year-old will be given as much time as he needs to recover.

I'm not making light of depression it's a serious thing and can effect anyone.

I have family members affected by it and it's a horrible thing. Good luck to the lad. He's been brave to acknowledge it and do something about it.

How can he be depressed on 40k per week etc, etc.

Just thought I'd save a few boneheads the bother.

Depression is terrible when its take over, could be offered my dream job on Monday but at the moment i cant face it.

I wasn't having a go at anybody just highlighting the difference in treatment I certainly wouldn't be sent home on full pay until I feeling better

I've suffered with it throughout my later teen years for various reasons, it's very horrible and affects family and friends too. This year has been hard again but i think i've worked out how i prevent myself from feeling them feels and i'm a happier person once more.

I know mate, That's usually what the idiots with no understanding of the condition come out with when any footballer or high earner has any kind of personal issue.

Depends on your contract.

I'd got it for a bit then after so long it went down to statutory sick pay. You'd need to get signed off by your doctor though.
