So, it's the New Year and I'm into a health kick. Went down to Currys for a new blender to sort out all the healthy fruit and veg shakes I plan on having.
So I go in the shop and choose the cheapest at £9.99 whereas the rest of the shelf are all £30+. What can go wrong. I only want something for the basics.

So I get it home and whack in a few bits of fruit, flick it on and stand back to admire my shrewd purchase.
And then...oh my life:
- the noise. Oh my God the noise. Despite only blending fruit (two bananas, half a kiwi fruit, some grapes, orange segments, pomegranate and a few bits of apple) it screeches as if it is blending rocks. Seriously you can't be within 6ft without holding your ears
- and it hops. Moved about 6 inches in 20/30 seconds.
Be warned. The lesson here is never buy the cheapest.
