Over the past 2 days I’ve seen enough bile to put me off social media for life.
On one hand you have right wing scumbags openly laughing at the deaths of young children who have lost their lives in a boat crossing
On the other side we’ve got people laughing at the death of a right wing activist gunned down in front of hundreds of people
Humanity is basically finished isn’t it
best thing Mother Nature could do is wipe the lot off the face of the earth and start again.

I’ve been listening to a lot of podcasts on fascism recently. There’s a fair amount of academic debate as to whether this phenomenon was contextually specific to post 1st world war Europe and whether contemporary ‘fascism’ can actually exist.
Either way, the term is largely misused and misunderstood these days.
