Based on the official site writeup and the one AB gave us, I would have to agree.

Its like that Barkley lad disappears. I don't understand it at all. He has looked bright when playing with the first team, but certainly should be bossing it for the u21's.

OS says we have a full squad to choose from, whether or not Moyes will want to risk Felli or Gibson getting hurt in what is going to be a high energy, high pace game is what we'll have to see about.

Since its the first match, you'd think he'd want the best available team out there, which would include Gibson imo.
