Player Valuation: £70m
There was talk of a proposed player going to Everton to sign for the club in the 60's era and taking his solicitor along with him and when the "Catt" saw this he sent player and solicitor packing. Does anyone have any knowledge of this?

I went to a sportsmans dinner a few years ago and Howard Kendall told exactly the same story about himself as manager and a player we had on loan called Terry Curran. He said, 'You expect the player to turn up with an overnight bag and a pair of boots, he turned with his agent and I knew he was'nt for us'. Maybe Howard learnt this attitude from the Catt, They both won titles!!!!!
To be fair though, we did eventually sign Curran and he was ****e!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

24 apps in 3 years, at Sheff Wed he had a brawl with Simon Stainrod at Oldham, got sent off and the ensuing riot by Wed fans saw the Hillsborough terraces closed for 4 games. He went out on loan and then signed for sheff utd.

50,000 here at the sheff derby, boxing day 79.3rd div. utd top wed 2nd going into the game...
