Does anyone know some good sites to buy second hand products? I’m looking for some wheels to use for sim racing, thank you!

Facebook marketplace throws up all sorts of stuff - but you have to speak to the public and some are utter cretins.

Have you also heard of ebay? It means electronic bay i think.

As it's specifically for a race wheel, maybe @longers has some pointers of forums etc.

I'd imagine serious members of the sim community are always trading up.

Yes but eBay seem to always be a bit more overpriced, sometimes the same price or more as the product new! :confused:

I just bought one off eBay (https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Thrustma...cing-Wheel-and-Pedals-PC-PS3-PS2/324495596888). Only a cheap one cos I don't play that much and cba splashing £££s to get something 'decent'. Half the wheels available cost more than my pc ffs :mad:

Also saw a few good options on FB Marketplace. Couple ppl selling those all in one sets for around £30/40 (https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1623579531158994), but I'm a bit wary buying off of there in case something doesn't work. Don't know if you have any comeback like you do on eBay.

Yeah that’s one reason why eBay is safer, I was looking looking on gumtree, a good site that you can negotiate cheap deals, just you have to collect the item, and has no delivery support there, and you can’t go into their house and test the wheel itself these days, more a video of that. I don’t use Facebook believe it or not and can’t access fb market place sadly.
