Does anyone here work in IT recruitment in the UK?

We may be expanding our business over there and will need some partners for staffing a huge multinational. Right now it's looking like the UK and France.

I think we'll have stuff at their Manchester office but I don't think they have any IT in Merseyside. The rest will be in London and Glasgow.

My son works in IT but he builds systems like he was instrumental in setting up Barclays call centres IT.

Do you really want to start trading stories? You think dealing with Prima Donnas all day long on the one hand and candidates who aren't remotely qualified for anything but are "fast learners and hard workers" on the other is fun? I get lied to all day long every day. "Yes I'm interested in that job" "No I haven't let anyone else submit me for that job" "Money isn't the most important factor"....

Well not in the UK mate, every job I have ever done is off my own back, and some of these jokers want £3k commission if I take a £25k job.
