Does anyone actually like the Daily Mail ?

Everyone i know ridicules the paper and its readers which makes me wonder how the hell its the most popular online "newspaper" in the world. Literally every comment on every article is either middle aged ugmos hating on fit celebs they wish they were as hot as or everyone crying about how their taxes are being used to help benefit scummers.

Does anyone here like it, and if so why ?

I read any paper tbh except the sun, isn't it the most read paper in Britain or something like that?

As you say, plenty of people seem to read it, so presumably some must like it. I think the online version does a lot of celebrity stuff, so people maybe look at the pictures?

It's not just press though, it's a paper of hate. They make up so much stuff with regards to minorities/disabled etc. And they publish Liz Jones.

Worryingly though, there are a lot of people who swear by it.

I don't really like any papers.

I occasionally get the weekend Echo and sometimes the Sunday Express.

I find them all similar anyway. Scum ridden rags, I find mostly. Inaccurate reporting in a lot of nationals simply to sell units.

I agree with Groucho, they feed off the misery of others, so do all humans to a degree, its just that most of us dont charge 45p.

You've just got to take it with a pinch of salt. They do seem to think that everything will give is cancer.

I prefer some of their stances on certain issues to others though. Don't really read papers much. I try to find a topic of interest and research different opinions from qualified people.

I don't agree with everything they say, but they provide an alternative to the standard news you get which I think is vital to anything left or right political or not. Ive read stories in the mail that haven't been touched by other papers due to them being more left wing but the story itself was spot on and in depth, so I think you need to see things from both sides not just the one paper
