Not sure where to post this so feel free to move if necessary mods,Clement Freud(Where's Henry the doglol )interviews Fans,Players and Managers in the lead up to this game, then actual footage(I've only ever seen the goal!)of the game:)

my auntie and uncle did as they couldn't get tickets for Goodison. I had to go to that place to pick them up on the Sat morning.
I was in the Gwladys round about what would be G4 now

Speaking about that place ,friends brother went there for tickets in the 1980s ,the brother wore his brothers shoes, all rabid blues of course,on finding this out the most rabid brother who's shoes they were, through the shoes into the fire!

Some observations: The predisposition of the media even then towards giving more coverage to the RS, despite Everton being the bigger, the richer, and the more successful of the two clubs by some distance; the dubbing of a crowd noise soundtrack of an Anfield recording of the RS singing YNWA -- why?; and the glorious Goodison Park -- an awesome and imposing architectural gem of a stadium both from the inside and the outside (whoever decided to cover over the magnificent exterior structural brickwork with the rusting metal cladding we now have?).
