Interesting question but do you feel like the issues of supporting the movements and organizations such as BLM or LGBTQ are political matters, or do you feel this should be considered more than political and rather as humanitarian matters?
 

Nothing political about fellas liking a bit of a bum I reckon.

Our politicians should weigh up all social issues and decide whether and how society should adapt, but in a way that is proportionate to the scale of the need. I feel our politicians fail to do that. They listen to the loudest voices, irrelevant as to whether they are a majority or tiny minority and base their response simply on what might get them the most votes. Our politicians are mainly tory- this means aren't really interested in society as much as what their position can do to improve their personal acquisition of wealth and power.
