Don't forget now the BBC are watching you... some nocey looking fella is outside in his white van watching to see if the tell tale sign of the TV glow flickers in your home
They should be paying me to watch the stuff they broadcast

Then, of course, after the 5 mins of adverts, you get 5 mins of recap, 3 mins of new information then back on with the ads. Basically you watch 20 mins of a programme but it takes an hour.

Life is definitely too short to waste doing that.

They may as well show adverts for income as the spend 5 minutes advertising future non eventful programmes......
BBC four has had some great forien noir programmes on in the past which have been great!

A good point. The beeb who aren't allowed to advertise, of course, fill an inordinate amount of airtime advertising and bigging up their dire content.

Noticed before the six o'clock news n BBC 1 3-5 minutes of expensive drivel of advertising.....
