With the news that Zouma is a no go, Lookman on his way out and possibly losing Gana. Would I be right to suggest we need a striker, attacking midfielder/winger, defensive midfielder, right back and 2 centre backs?! Big ask!

Glad someone else said we need two strikers, everyone keeps saying we need a striker and we’ll be sound, but if they have bad form, don’t settle, get injured etc... we have Niasse and DCL to lead the line. Pathetic

Correct, and one of those scenarios is not unthinkable

None of these things are official. But no. We NEED 2 players right now imo. Striker and CB. If Gana does go we need another CM. A winger and RB are luxuries at this point.

He had a huge improvement towards end of last season but unfortunately didn’t have the goals against his name. I think the form he showed towards end of season should be the minimum requirement, that type of effort and style of play could work very well with a prolific striker, but that would need us to play in that style/system

I don't know, I get the feeling he sees Richarlison as a striker and he wants more creativity to lay on goals for him. What do you think? I don't think Kean will happen which is a shame, as he looks to have the physical part of his game too, a bit like Lukaku was at that age. Leao would need to be quick and accurate to meet the grade as he will get pushed off the ball in the Premiership!

Not really, it’s the summer transfer window. Players will have bags packed awaiting the completion of one transfer that will then enable there’s etc. Sure, some moves won’t go through but a lot will fall like dominoes once one big move goes through.

Our conversion rate was very poor. We were dominating and geting shots in, they just didn't convert to goals. Maybe we need a hitman, a goal machine, even if the other parts of their game aren't great.
