Hello, have been thinking for a while now , can we as a team play without regular front men .
They (strikers)are mostly way to expensive anyway.decent defenders and solid middle players with some creative classy wingers may be a way forward for us . what ye think?

this is my question i was supposed to ask last august when i joined GOT. STILL like to know ur thoughts. HELLO...

we're not Spain or Bacelona so yes we need someone who can stick away the chances we create from crosses etc

We need one more experienced versatile midfielder/striker and a defender who can play everywhere in defence. All we need

Look at all the teams like Leeds, Sheffield Wednesday and Nottingham Forest. They used to be top sides in this country. They bought loads of strikers over the years and they've gone down the shoite hole. Swerve them I say.

I remember distinctly the Blackburn game a couple of years back so I looked for this: (stats on the right hand side of the page)

One of the most one sided games I can remember and yet we lost, we had several games like that around that time, where we played really well but had nothing burying the chances. Without a striker we're like a lion with boxing gloves on and no teeth, scary and intimidating, but ultimately not dangerous enough to be a real threat.
Now its a different story, with Jelaivc I could see us being capable of being Blackburn in that game.
