Do I go to the pub?

Back in Liverpool. Was aiming to watch it on a "dirty river" but now it's getting closer the time thinking of going the pub. Anywhere in Huyton that gets a decent turnout of blues?

.....I think wherever you go it will be into the Lions Den. I'm going for it. Just once, maybe just once we can glow in the aftermath of a Derby rather than stew in the deluge of sarcasm. Don't forget, we're not alone. I'll be thinking of Blues around the globe and as somebody has already said in this thread, regardless of the result we have the pleasure of not waking up a go***ite on Sunday.

Good luck lads.

Don't go.

If you don't go and we lose - you didn't have to endure it, so you win (slightly). If you don't go and we win, well we won so you win.

If you go and we lose, well you obviously lose in that situation. If you go and we win, well obviously you win in that situation.

Conclusion - you cannot lose by not going, but you can by going, therefore don't go.

I'm off to the pub up here in Durham...

I'll CERTAINLY be outnumbered.

The amount of Kopites around here is phenomenal...

They never quite grasp that being a woolly blue is just the same as being a plastic kopite (or a plopite) as they often come out with stormers like, "but you don't live anywhere near there...why would you support them?"

Err...o_O

Basically they're saying "Why support a team that's hardly on telly mate?" You're doing it wrong

last years 3-3 derby there wasn't many people at the pub, but there was only one kopite and 4 blues, it was great.
Then the anfield derby I watched with my band mates at the pub as the sole Everton fan, and we have a gig tonight, last thing I want to do is pretend to be their friend on stage when inside I'll be screaming!

Right. We're off to the pub. I've got an Everton polo shirt on and the wife has gone for a blue woolly jumper.

It feels REPRESENTIN' but less tacky than a load of Kopites wearing replica shirts.

Meeting my two mates in there as well...

Wish me luck.

I'll be in the pub, I live in Manchester so it'll be full of United fans supporting Everton before their game with West Ham.

Even here you get loads of them. Theyre like rats.

5 pints into the day - sitting with 6 kopite lads who live in Bristol. To be fair they've been alright so far and none are wearing the full kopite regala. Still if we score [Poor language removed] niceness I'm windmilling till my limbs fall off
