Junior refs are a waste of space, I know they are learning and all but that should mean that decisions can be reversed.
last week, lost by one goal and as they left the field the ref apologised saying that really we should've had a penalty, they could've let us take it then to maybe get a draw (this is u9's)
this week, ref in way on every corner, ball hit him 3 times. Aplayer goes to make a tackle and stays down (no foul either way) ball breaks free and just as our forward hits it he blows and gives a drop ball, with the ball nestling in the net. Kid gets up straight away and contest the drop. We lost by 1 and league official says goal should've stood, he played advantage then blew when it was clear we had the advantage.
Now I know this isn't the World Cup but heads drop if you keep getting beaten, and so far we have been beaten by a goal with comments immediately after the whistle saying we shouldve had a goal or pen.
