Distin's Contract

Am I right in think Everton used our option to extend his deal with us this time last season making him our player this season, if so does anyone know the score with him currently, are we negotiating, he has another 2 years in him for me.

He has been a fantastic player and surely we need to get him tied up

Great player, still fit enough for another year. Not sure about tying him up though, bit kinky that.

signed an extension in Feb I think, same time people were speculating whether or not Nev would be offered one. Class how in foot races with most strikers who are seen to be fast such as an Agbonlahor, Distin will keep up then just walk in front of them and be this rock they need to run round.

Think this will be his last season. Then depending how he feels i hope he'll become a sub, or take up some role at the Club. A lot of young defenders can learn from Distin.

We don't need to gamble and give him two years IMO. Once his legs go he's finished.

Class act , takes some **** off whoppers on ****ter and never hides. Suppose it's part of being on there but I wouldn't mind some of the bells saying it to his face like.

Nowhere close to being our best player. Hasn't even been the best CB this season!

Excellent player to have around, seems to be at his peak, which is ironic given that most centrehalfs are fast declining by his age (Carragher anyone?)

His strength and speed are the key attributes to his game and probably why he's preferred over wimpy Heitinga.

Aucun a son gout.

Seamus has been great too, Jags had good late season form, and LB ran out of steam through a full 2-3 seasons with no rest.
