Dilemma! Help!

I'm thinking of getting a new car. But can't decide. A BMW 1-Series or a Mercedes A class. Anyone had any experience with either??

I wouldn't go near the new A-Class, you're looking at a price premium over the BMW depending on the options you choose, and the ride is inferior.

Although i wouldn't buy either, i'd say the new A3 is a better option than both. Currently driving the 2.0 TDI Sport model and it's superb.

Having the same dilemma myself went to the merc dealers last week and got completely blanked went I went in asking fr prices ect told to come back another day so went to bmw got offered a 1 series sport for 1900 deposit and 299 a month seriously considering it after the awful service at mercedes

Mercedes says 'middle aged spread' and BMW can often say other things.
