Am I the first person to say they just couldn't do it? I'm just too into football (mostly from GoT), gaming (mostly from YouTube) and culture updates to go completely cold turkey from the internet in my personal time. That said, I'm generally not an addictive personality type. Honest! For example, I can easily drop everything I do online for my loved ones or if someone wants to do something in the outside world. It never becomes a burden to my lifestyle. I can even do the food shop when Everton are playing FFS!

Facebook in particular I have very limited overall interaction with. No work colleagues, just extremely close ties that I've known for years. I could easily go weeks without checking, though, as I have all the "good" ones as phone contacts.

Anybody tried to just leave all of the forums, Facebook ect for a few months?
Thinking of giving it a go.
Just using my phone as just that to make call ect.
Seem to spend a lot of time just looking at a screen( don't know what. but feel I should be doing something else.)
Any experience of doing this?
Before some smart arse says they didn't have a mobile till they were 20 or something I mean recently.
I've packed in all social media besides this forum tbh.

I'd recommend ebooks to help with the transition.

Can’t wait until I change job and don’t need facebook for my business then I can get off there altogether.

Binned X off a while back. Insta is ok for just looking at the odd golf video and stuff.

LinkedIn is also the work of Satan.
