Started posting to ASSE (alt.sport.soccer.everton) on Usenet back in 1999. Now if you're under the age of about 25 you probs won't even know what I'm on about. Posted there til about 2003/4 until all the constant trolling and relentless spam made it such a mission to even pick out the EFC threads.

Then spent alot of time on NSNO, decent bunch of peeps, always found them a bit clicky though and although Si is a good admin, they seem a little too keen to toe the club line most of the time.

Then a good while on Kipper. **** about, that was an eye opener. Knee jerkers all over the gaff, hysterical illiterates, racist **** on a daily basis...really bad.

And to here, been posting and lurking a few weeks now and getting a feel for the place. This is the first board that kind of captures the early feel of ASSE and seems to be populated by some quite intelligent people who can write/punctuate/express themselves.

I suppose I just wanted to highlight that although we're all Evertonians, everyone is different and even Everton forums vary massively in mood and opinion. At the end of the day, we'll all have COYB chiseled into our gravestones.

That Paul Mac Everything Else forum is a zone for toxic waste. I've never seen anything like it. It must have the most vile rubbish posted in it of any football forum. Kipper in general is awful, just awful.

Don't forget the 'Upgraded Members Lounge'. Its always good for a laugh. :)

Loads of good Everton boards, isn't right to criticise one or the other, they're just suited to different lids. You'll always end up liking the one you suit best. I dare say all the fruit on pizza enthusiasts may have a different opinion of how sound this board is like.
