Player Valuation: £15m
Highly rated attacker Dieumerci Mbokani appears to be on his way out of Belgian champions Standard Liege with the player's agent, Fabio Baglio, having revealed that Everton are interested in signing the striker.

"A number of clubs from England, Italy, Spain and Germany are colsely monitoring the situation of Dieumerci. However, Everton are extremely serious and they are likely to make a first offer in the near future," said Baglio to Het Nieuwsblad.

"I don't expect Standard to turn down a good offer. They agreed to co-operate if an interesting offer came in when Dieumerci signed a contract extension. It's now time for Standard to live up to their promises."

'Scuse me if it's been discussed elsewhere but couldn't see it. Lots of sites reporting we're serious about signing this lad (though none of them particularly reputable) and this one features an encouraging direct quote from his agent. Anybody seen him play? Has LCAB passed judgement on this yet?

He has been mentioned within other threads but this deserves it's own as it looks like he could be this summers ongoing rumour.

He played and scored past us at Goodison. (Their first goal)

Apparently Moyes was in Liege the other day, watching both Mbokani and Witsel.

So it begins..

I bought him on FM, I was playing as Burnley in the Prem, scored 25 of my awful tally of 30 goals, anyway I got relegated, he wanted to stay and whilst playing in the championship he only scored 7 in 40 starts!

Point of the story is, he should do well as long as we don't get relegated.

Does he have real pace? Instead of the fake stuff, because heaven knows we are desperate for a real fast sprinter up front, knows Mo Fro so could be a possibility. Unless Moyes was their to hijack Jovanovich who is a free this summer.

You sure thats possible? I thought the only way too cancel a contract like that was if the club pulls out?

Pre-contract agreements aren't binding according to Simon Grayson. It wouldn't happen though, Jovanovich has said in an interview that he's had the chance to join us before but wouldn't sign for such a small club, or words to that effect (hope Marouane gives him a clip round the ear when they run into each other at the Hunts Cross ASDA).

Fact is, that he isn't good enough to play for a club like Everton. He'll prove that at the RS.
