Did we, or did we not chant murderers?

Not found a thread on this, it's something which we shouldn't really ignore as it's based upon our supporters.

In the most recent Merseyside derbies, did we or did we not chant murderers?

There is no 'we'.

If there were a few bellends being bellends, they are most definitely a 'they' or 'them'. I'm not being associated with or defined by the minority of utter plebs that every fanbase has.

99.9% of us would find that abhorrent. Enough said.

Not 99.9% of match goers. Heard it sung en-masse, and sung it myself, at many a derby, away etc. That's the truth.

The chanting does us no favours, that's for sure.

They brought it on themselves with celebrating the European ban like they had won another Cup - and the Bucharest flag on the Kop was their disgrace.

Given their behaviours, taking their 'feelings' on the matter into account is irrelevant. They clearly have none.

Even so, enough is enough.

I don't think it's appropriate though? It's a non-footballing matter and shouldn't be sang as far as I'm concerned.

If I'm ever fortunate enough to go to a derby game and I hear someone sing that I'm gonna lump them a ****er.

Good luck with that one.

It's not 99.9% of match goers who find it abhorrent. I'd say it's at least 50/50 if not more who sing it sadly. Try not to sing it myself but sometimes I just get caught up in it all after a bad decision or something. Be better if we didn't really. Murderers is wrong IMO.

Singing a song about how they refuse to acknowledge it or apologise and take the piss out of Juventus fans with a mosaic saying 'friends' in their first recognition of it would be more fitting, but we'd need Oscar Wilde or Elton John for that.
