They used to be LD lines Ferries. We spend quite a bit of time in France as a family member has a house there. We always use Brittany Ferries but some other family members would use LD Lines. They found them ro be absolutely fine, if not a bit cheap and cheerful. It looks like they've sold out DFDS and probably just rebranded their ships. I suppose its down to your journey times, like if you live in Southampton and are going to Rouen then it doesn't matter if the boat's just an upgrade on a mersey ferry.

It's worth remembering that P&O ferries rebranded from Townsend Thoresen. The main reason being the ferry that sunk because some divvy left the back door open had its images beamed across the world with the words "Townsend Thoresen" on show. Andy Townsend is unavailable for comment at this time.

thanks mate

I used them twice before all the COVID in 2019 from Newhaven to Dieppe and they were absolutely fine, I did a night boat crossing on both occasions and just got on board and a drink and went to bed.

Anyone here been one? How's the experience?
You can get a ‘mini cruise’ from Newcastle to Amsterdam. Leave Newcastle on the Friday arrive in Amsterdam on Saturday morning. Leave Amsterdam at 6pm and back in newcastle on Sunday.
One of the most disgraceful things I’ve ever seen.
If the sea is particularly rough, the ferry just quickly stops in Amsterdam then leaves again and no one is allowed off.
