Genius, the only word to describe him.

An absolute joy to watch, and it must kill Arsenal fans to go from Viera, Bergkamp, Ljungberg, Pires & Henry to the current lot they have, as good as they are still.

The most technically gifted footballer to ever kick a ball on these shores. The Arsenal team he played in were a genuine joy to watch. They were exactly what a football team should be.

I think that side with Bergkamp, Henry, Viera and the like are the best side of the PL era by a mile.

I bet Dabiszas still has nightmares.

Great footballer and always seemed like a fairly decent guy in general. I just found this quote from him, nice to see him having a dig at Chelsea way back

''When you beat a team so often - especially like this season when Chelsea had already lost three times to us - you know people expect you to do it again. But you also know they're going to be even more motivated to finally win.''

I would say my favourite non Everton player in premiership history.

An absolute genius, his hatrick against Leicester, goal against Newcastle when he spun around and this one for the Dutch v Argies in the world cup. All out of this world. I love the man

Weird

I actually googled, last night "how did Dennis Bergkamp get to USA 94?"

I know it changes a lot, but I'm fairly certain he's my all time favourite player
