Ahhh the old tax because of the environment justification. Saves losing votes by saying its tax because we want more money to spend.

Significant how governments around the world ignored all concerns about the environment until someone thought up this hack.

There is a project in Scotland at the minute which will produce feed for cows which will reduce the methane output from the cows.

I remember being in New Zealand a few years ago and heard they were planning to bring it in. Looked it up there and see the government scrapped the idea last month. It's a world gone mad bringing in taxes such as this.
Wonder will there be loop holes for farmers such as butt plugs for cattle to get around it
