Quite amazing situation really, the team that did so well in world cup are in a middle of a image rights row with the danish fa. As ive read the danish fa want them to sign new image rights deal exclusive with danish fa but that would stop their image deals with personal sponsors like nike etc.

They play slovakia tonight in a team made up of futsal players and danish 2/3rd division players. Wales (and myself) travel there at the weekend and it could very well be the same squad. Imo they will get batterd tonight and a truce between the players and the fa will be called in time for erikson and co to play v wales on sunday.

I don't know much about the situation but if they beat Wales with futsal players that would make the 90's defeats to Moldova and Georgia look heroic in comparison.

I think it's really sad that bloody money for image rights could have such an affect on playing for your country.

It's a reason why Klaassen didn't get off the training pitch instead of playing for a good European team.
