Denis Law... Funny

Hughes was a muscular striker, Law was much sleeker.
Both effective, but I'd take Denis Law over Hughes every day of the week and twice on a Sunday, he was superb.
With you there Ian Dury's backer, you are bright and subtle
Huzzah
Wonder if Denis can play DM, he's fast enough for that position despite his age :)

Not seen that in years and never seen his interview comments. At the time I thought he had been half hearted in hitting the ball but looking at it again I have changed my mind. He meant it but was clearly incapable of celebrating given the circumstances.
PS it was quite good that the Utd game before that was a defeat at Goodison iirc.

He was saying on SSN today saying that being selected to play for his country was his ultimate achievement. That's despite winning the European Cup and League Championship for his club. Tells you everything you need to know about the man.
