bless his heart! how happy was he?! very pleased for him, but im a bit worried i was so happy for him, cos he's actually still a bit rubbish, like seeing the fat kid at school managing to complete the 100 metres in less than 30 seconds....

Was glad to see him score. Anytime he is on the pitch for us, he works so hard closing down players and chasing balls. Especially today.

He deserved his goal and it was great to see him show so much emotion after scoring.

I thought he played well. Held the ball up well and brought other players into the game.

In other news..... is there no way we can kidnap donovan and keep him forever!?!?

gutted didnt see the celebration was bouncin round me room,

bet it was a fu'kin beast though. IS RIGHT LAD start smashin them in now

link? id actually belive if someone said he done a backflip over the goal. YESSS.

the pic, love it. made up for him

He's not sh*t.

Well he's not great either.

He's trying so hard to impress I think that hurts him sometimes.

Was a lovely header and if you get crosses to him I think he could do that more often.

I thought he was much improved today, especially after his goal. Held the ball well, had a better touch, laid some excellent passes off wide to Donovan and carried on running for 80+ mins. He will never be great but im a bit more hopeful he will improve after tonights showing.

End of the day...a player might be gash or not up to play at a certain level...but if he gives it everything he's got and pours it out on the field, he'll get respect and a thumps up from me.

If Anichebe put in half the effort Straq did, I wouldnt be so hard on the lad.
