Dempsey for me. His been in the PL for several years, good scoring ratio, more skilled, RW solution we have been crying out for. Don't get me wrong, Donovan is great player, but his a lil bitch not wanting to leave MLS.
 

Donovan.

He's proven to work with the way we play, he'd raise our stature in the States more than Dempsey, but above all, he gets it. He understands that Everton is more than just a wage to him, he understands what the club means to the fans.

We need a right winger, but we also need to replace Cahill, and having Demsey in the Cahill role would be great...

Both are great but has to be donavan As good as dempsey is we know what we are getting with donavan . I also think that donovan will be easier to get . Would be happy with any but if we had to pick donovan is the man
 

Donovan would be better for the club as a whole and would be something of a leader on the pitch, i could see him being the next captain were he to come here permanently.

Donovan would fill a role we desperately need to (RM) while Dempsey would be a good addition Osman and sometimes Cahill can already do a job at CAM.

Overall i'd take Donovan, but i'd rather we didn't choose, sold Rodwell and bought both of them.

Donovan for me. He loves the club, we need a right winger more and I think he's the better player of the two. Plus he has more of a commercial lure to him than Dempsey, if that makes sense?
 
Landon all the way. As said above HE GETS IT. He knows everton are more than just another football club.
